đ¸ Ah, springtime! With pollen pants at the ready, our little friends embark on their crucial mission of pollinating our food: fruits like apples, oranges, and strawberries, and vegetables such as cucumbers, tomatoes, and zucchinis. As the days grow longer and the nectar flows abundantly, bees also begin the diligent process of honey production, which we get to witness firsthand at our sister business Brazee Studios, where our founder Sandy personally tends to beehives.
đ Spring also happens to be a pivotal time here at Sleepy Bee Cafe. We enjoy bountiful harvests from nearby farms, who bring us pure maple syrup, asparagus, kale, and soon, strawberries. We also prepare for our biggest day of the year, Motherâs Day! Motherâs Day truly is the ultimate brunch holiday, which means even more to us as a business headed by three tenacious, hardworking mothers.
đ Although we donât have one single Queen Bee like our pollinator friends, we emulate the spirit of collaboration and dedication in their hives. Just as bees work tirelessly for the greater good of their hive, our team collaborates with unwavering dedication to ensure every dish is sourced and crafted with care, and every guest is greeted with warmth.
